Trench Graders come in various sizes and styles to fit your needs. Some units can be mounted to skid steers while others are designed to be pushed or pulled by a backhoe or tractor. Most units are fitted with a hydraulic vibrating wheel for precision compacted backfills.

The Trench Grader is simple to attach to your equipment and is rugged yet flexible. Trench Graders come in standard and hydraulic vibratory wheel models for compacting the trench fill (see chart).
Backfill Flexibility: You can bring a little dirt into the trench at a time for compaction in layers, or all at once for a one-pass job. If compaction is not important, you can leave the compaction motor off and allow the normal wheel pressure to compress the trench fill at up to 8 mph. However, to ensure dense compaction the motor should be on and trench filled at 1 mph.
